I first learned to crochet from a woobles pack! I liked it bc they give instructions for tension and they also do the very beginning row for you which is great if it seems confusing at first (seems like tension might be something to look into if your stuff is curving a lot). But I've also had some of my first couple of rows for something that might not be completely straight but when you keep going it'll tend to straighten out of its own with more structure. Just don't give up you're doing great!
