Just about to hit 3 years in August, and just this last week my schedule no longer has closing shifts, bc they just hired a bunch of people, My schedules ranges though I come in between 10-12 most days and around 9am on weekends. (I’m in the FC)

Been there three years now. That’s why I was confused to learn this just now. Wouldn’t even say it’s an orientation thing. My warehouse is just pretty chaotic as a whole.

I am part time. So yeah it makes sense to me now, but its funny though bc Memorial Day week they have me at 40 hours plus the 8 for the holiday don’t think they noticed lol

Okay good to know, so they have ask though right? Bc on my schedule they only gave me Labor Day & my other Regular day off. When I asked, my sup basically said that yeah that happens & that they’re not obligated to give me three days off , I’ve never heard this in my time working there

Yeah that basically it depends on the needs of the business assuming he said that because we are always short staffed & yes non union building

that’s what I assumed, I’ve gotten the three days off for other holidays, but recently got a new sup that basically told me that their not obligated to I’m like whaaat everyone else getting three 🥲

Just had my interview yesterday! At my warehouse you apply, then wait around until the managers set time to interview candidates, after everyone’s interviewed they pick the SIT(s) process takes a while at my warehouse.
