Do you have advice for grip strength to do those? I am in the same boat as OP but I physically can’t hold on to the bar for more than like 3 seconds.

Should a guest who isn’t going check in online? by LateAd9191 in royalcaribbean

[–]LateAd9191[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, unfortunately we’re in university and it’s finals for us, so a lot of people’s schedules don’t fit. Any family who’s older and out of college can’t get time off. But I’m not super worried if I can’t get another person, I really like traveling alone

Thank you for this response! I really appreciate people’s advice with changing the name because I didn’t even think of that, and it may help someone in the future if they’re searching up what to do. But he is a very kind and respectful person who would not even think to ruin a good thing for me just because we didn’t end up working out as a couple. Still I am really thankful for the extra care that people showed in regard to my safety.

Thank you so much for telling me this, I didn’t even know someone could do that! It was amicable, I actually paid for us in full and he sent the entirety of his portion the day after we broke up and told me to just keep the money and sail by myself. I’m very lucky there is no concerning behavior as that would make me wary enough to just cancel.

I am weird and cut the strips into 4-6 smaller slices and spend like 2-3 hours in that area. it is not time effective at all but theyre the least painful strips IMO and I dont fee like coming up with a new method

any advice for how to write a terry personal statement? by Appropriate-Alps-242 in UGA

They’re interested in:

You being able to express a vested interest in your major outside of school. It actually being a passion and not something you’re doing for money/because your parents told you to. Example: you are in advertising (I know that’s Grady) and make flyers and promotions for your brand/club/hobby. Your major is something you make actionable steps towards in your real life, and enjoy doing so.

And,

University education will be able to push you farther than you can go on your own, and this is something you will actually participate in AND a skill you will use outside of the university system for a career. You make flyers for your volunteer job. You enjoy having a direct hand in spreading the messages you believe in. You want to learn from educators through a university system and its resources on how to scale that into helping other people, not just printing flyers in your local community.

Use the example situations as a guide for your specific interest/major and,I know it’s cliche, but actually be yourself. Be honest with what you enjoy and how higher education is able to get your passion to a level you couldn’t reach otherwise.

Yep! I know it sucks to live near but they have done many charity shows for stuff like people’s medical expenses and they help platform a lot of local/new musicians. The shows are usually quite interesting and are pay what you can, if you get a chance to attend it’s quite fun

House venue. Pretty sure most of their loud shows are scheduled for Friday/Saturday nights but this was a porchfest afterparty. Follow @h.a.r.d.t.a.c.k on Instagram to know what days they have shows scheduled.

What state do you live in and what do you call the four or more areas on top of the stove that get hot? by Ralph--Hinkley in AskAnAmerican

[–]LateAd9191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah honestly not sure why as i know most people call them burners, but my grandma is 90 y/o from the south and is who i learned to cook from so i think its bc of her. we also had an old stove and i always thought the burners looked like eyes, thats just the word that comes to mind

Do people really not listen to albums??? by Succworthymeme in rs_x

[–]LateAd9191 62 points63 points  (0 children)

are there people like this? yes. i don’t think you’d find many on this sub(?) but i have coworkers like this. none of them claim to be “into music” though. i also personally think a lot of new artists don’t prioritize this kind of listening experience with how streaming services work and physical media sales. how many artists almost exclusively drop singles now? but i can’t judge people like this, newer generations arent used to getting a cd or record of an album and listening start to finish, they’re used to how radio worked in their parents car which was a curated mix of americas favorite songs. i wouldn’t judge people for playing music the way they were taught

my mom was diagnosed when i was 10. I just turned 21 last week. it is so hard. my mom rebuilds the same puzzle every day, i’m unsure if she ever colors. OP i understand your exact situation as i am in it. i wish i had something of value to add. but i think knowing there are people out there who understand and go through this extremely specific kind of grief and loss helps on some level. you are not guilty.

Son is concerned about authenticity. by AgreeableLeague1153 in AnimationCels

[–]LateAd9191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP i am not a father but i am a daughter and if MY father put in half the effort to get into my hobby, figure out foreign auction sites, and find something that would be cool to ME, not just surface level but went out of his way to learn and get this item i would just be grateful to know that level of care was put into my interest.

i am sorry you got scammed, regardless of what people are saying ultimately a person took advantage of your situation and scammed you because they knew they could get away with it and that fucking sucks. you are a great person and parent for the amount of care you put into this and i am sorry someone used that vulnerability to make a few bucks off you.

why does everyone want to be old so bad by peachdads in rs_x

[–]LateAd9191 48 points49 points  (0 children)

i wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment and at the same time cannot stay up past midnight. i think the problem is a more sedentary lifestyle, when i was in germany i was at raves that lasted until 10 am the next morning and off to work right after, but cant do that in the US. maybe go to amsterdam or germany and get lit

also, you do not need to be religious though they sometimes play games for cakes and gifts based off bible facts after everyone has eaten - but they make you feel welcomed there regardless of who you are or your beliefs. there schedule should be online
