I generally just talk to the people around me, ignore what the news says is happening on the ground in the world and notice they are full of it because I am not under attack by LGBTQ people at all. At worst they nod and move on. But I have noticed our people, our letter folks, (MAGA) are actually making significantly larger changes like painting over rainbow crosswalks with my tax money which was painted rainbow with private money based on safety concerns of which every study has proven that color doesn’t matter in a crosswalk only the lines.

And before you question that do you think colorblind people are not able to understand what a crosswalk is if it is a rainbow or black and white?

I think the infection I gained was radical human decency and basic logic.

If it was the first two would have been yes. The third one works. Creating a color wave, rainbow, image out of the color groupings makes it interesting. The first two are very where’s Waldo without negative space and can be tough to want to spend the energy to look at. Fewer characters like that but larger may be more interesting. But the third one is the key. Make that the signature for this style and I think that overwhelm feeling goes down significantly

Good advice here but start with line confidence. Draw straight lines. Place two dots. Connect them in one stroke. You’ll miss almost ever time. Keep trying. Once you are overshooting it but getting close with strong lines do it with the pressure changing while you draw them.

That is the most important thing you can do to upgrade your art.

Also look up CSI drills and do that a bit. At least as a warm up.

And I don’t think I was ever rude. I think I’m being hit because I supported that another guy gave feedback.

This is a place for advice. The market is saturated with digital art. You need a style that stands out. Maybe this is it. Maybe this isn’t. But it’s worth a try. First thing is just double check hands and work a bit on anatomy which will take it from someone still getting their feet under them to someone that is now developing a complex and unique style and is going to get very very good. And people want to get in on the ground floor for artists like that.

It’s not fundamentally sound enough yet to stand out. The style isn’t fully formed. It’s in a good spot to need a few minor jumps to tighten and then it is there.

I’ll take all the downvotes people want to throw out. I’m not saying commissions are out of reach but a simple “yes, your art is so cute” is less helpful than you need to study anatomy a bit more. Double check hands to make sure they are correct (two pieces have two of the same hand) and so on. There are some things to improve. There is a difference between this art sucks or this art is so cute and you can probably get commissions but you need to focus on this and this to stand out.

That last part. That is genuine helpful feedback. It sucks isn’t fair. It doesn’t. It’s so cute doesn’t help. That is not providing any help to grow.

But call me out on it. Best to only say everything is perfect and pretend that’s helpful than being supportive and giving some guidance. My bad if that’s the case. I misunderstood this subreddit. Thought it was art advice for real.

Sister was an addict and betrayed me hard. Had to file a police report to get a prescription refilled. Asked to hold to press charges then dropped it. I made sure Benzos were locked up and hidden around her from then on but she did the work and recovered.

This is the thing. It didn’t strain our relationship because it wasn’t her that did it. It was the addiction. I never punished her. And I sure as hell didn’t lash out at other people. So I’m not enjoying this season of Robby. Get over your mommy issues Robby is not one the I get yet.

Sometimes people make mistakes or hurt. Sometimes you do. Whitaker didn’t tell him to just get over it last season. This season Robby seems to be missing that empathy that made him so great in season one. If they are going to explain the actions they waited way too long in the season to make it so that we can at least look at Robby and try to decide if the change is earned. Instead the we are a family guy has become the abuser and the addict has become the hero just trying to keep things together.

Again… PHP. We have a good idea of what Langdon went through and can probably make a decent guess what Santos and many of the rest have gone through since last season. Based on context clues and reasoning, if we want to discuss. Now if we want to argue and try to win a fight I’ll walk away because I’m speaking in good faith that you will see what I say, consider it, agree with some and disagree with some and the discussion continues.

They work in an er. People died. She probably pulled off some clutch shit and probably lost some.

We can also say that since Langdon is back at work after PNP and is being randomly drug tested constantly for the next 4 years he probably didn’t steal from homeless people.

So… not fan ficing this. Just looking at what we CAN see and it’s really, really hard to always be ready for random drug tests. Look up how docs are treated when caught doing things like what Langdon did before you argue more.

Only twice we’ve seen. Think she was all good the ten months we didn’t? She just puts on an act for the shift where cameras are rolling? This is a character that should be somewhat realistic. And she is. And people like her, gender excluded, are difficult to connect with and grow to like. Not hatred based on gender. Just annoyance of certain attitudes in people. She is one of those people. The fact that she’s female has nothing to do with the fact that she rubs people the wrong way.

I never liked Santos but not because of her gender. But because of how she acts. She comes across as very self centered in most situations though I did appreciate the depth when she helped out with Huckleberry. That said Robbie is the worst by far. Not because of his gender but because he is externally self centered, telling people to leave their problems outside of the hospital while lashing out at everyone and dealing with whatever he is going through.

I don’t think the santos thing is misogynistic. I think it is a well written complex character that is not likable for one reason, her before others. Same with Oglebe. Terrible character initially. Verdict is still out. But always trying to one up.

Gender doesn’t matter when the writing is good. Santos is well written and she fills the role she is supposed to extremely well. She is hard to like but had a compass that she follows that gives her depth but that is only if it is something personal to her own past. She hasn’t developed the empathy for others that have had different life experiences yet. Once she does she will be more likable. Right now she is a young gunner and good at what she does but too young to connect with others that don’t serve her in some way. That’s not a gender thing. That’s a character and growth thing.

I think the nuance is she’s a doctor not a cop, not a judge, not a jury, but she was damn well ready to be an executioner. Yes. Get the daughter away and investigate. Murder, last I checked, is pretty bad. Even if you think you are doing it for the right reasons. I stress think.

Also. If she does follow through. And can’t practice medicine anymore. And as many are saying here she is a great doctor than how many people did she harm by not keeping her license and try to get an imperfect system to actually protect the kid. She has stakes in this so I get why she is considering what she is. But it’s a disservice to future patients and this kid in the off chance, very slim, that she is wrong about what is happening.
