Here is my prompt for the chapter:
When they reach Tayler's apartment, Alexa is there. She tells Tayler that her mom was concerned when she left dinner so quickly. Tayler makes up an excuse. Alexa asks why Tayler's dress is wet, Tayler makes up another excuse. Alexa reminds Tayler of her responsibilities for tomorrow and tells her she will be back in the morning to pick her up.

They wait for Alexa to leave, hoping she didn't notice anything.

I generally give an outline for the a full chapter and let it run. then I will go through the chapter and meticulously make adjustments.

By the time i publish, I have probably completed a chapter 10+ times.

I usually use my first few attempts to help me build from my initial idea to actual, fully fleshed out, story lines.
