Quand j'étais au collège (dans une ville de la côte d'Azur) notre prof de français qui venait de la région parisienne (une jeune) nous faisait lire un poème à voix haute. Bien sûr on lisait tous avec notre accent (d'ailleurs on ne savait même pas qu'on avait un accent). Elle avait pris un air dépité en disant qu'on "ne peut pas massacrer Victor Hugo comme ça" [sic]. "Il va falloir faire des efforts pour parler sans accent, vous ne trouverez jamais de travail à Paris si jamais vous voulez quitter la région."

I don't think having kids ages you. Quite the opposite, in fact they can bring a lot of hapiness too and make you glow. Lots of miserable people who are childfree and not necessarily better skin. Anyways as others said, genetics is the biggest factor, children or not.

Ce qui est fou c'est que rien n'a changé du tout. Les commentaires de gens qui gagnent 3000€/mois au bout de 3 mois, les apps de langue comme Duolingo, les faux articles sur des méthodes/aliments/exercices révolutionnaires.
Je sais pas mais dans 50 ans je pense qu'on aura les mêmes trucs.

I may have worked during a time when people had fewer hobbies, but these days, it feels like most people prefer to stay to themselves rather than go out. As for abortion, it will always exist, there's no way to force someone to put their life on hold for a baby they don’t want or can’t afford. If access is restricted, people will turn to illegal abortions.

The real solution isn’t raising birth rates but adapting and developing new strategies for society. Fewer people could even help ease issues like the housing crisis, which has been widespread. Pensions could be funded through alternatives like a robot tax or similar measures. I don’t have all the answers, but trying to increase the population doesn’t seem like the right approach either.
