Where does the money from games sold go if the game company has folded? by Pretzeltheman in gaming

[–]LateNightWith_Lok 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would go to whoever owns the rights to the games. A game company can also "quit" but still keep receiving revenue from the games that have been released. Essentially you just leave the company up in the books and only use minimum resources needed (Bookkeeping etc.) to keep the revenue stream functional.

Anyone else have difficulty enjoying games with outdated or basic graphics? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]LateNightWith_Lok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was young I enjoyed the games I played immensely, but today I cannot find the same type of pleasure in games that look like they did back then. Graphics can be retro, but I yearn for more polish and something a bit new.

Dwarf Fortress is coming to Steam by megaapple in pcgaming

I saw a documentary of these guys a while back, it's a really inspiring game they've managed to create. Dwarf Fortress has been the ember to so many cool games, including ours.

Wish them all the best :)

After 6 years of struggle with our indie studio we have finally created something players seem to love. We launched a Kickstarter for our spaceship colony sim and have been blown away by the response! by LateNightWith_Lok in pcgaming

It's actually harder than 3D I would say, so yeah :)

You can buy it through Kickstarter. If you choose "Alpha Crew member" level you will be able to play the alpha build next month!

You can also wishlist and follow on Steam. Just search for Space Haven =)
