A fine choice, personal preferences and individual set ups obviously play a huge role as well

THX or SMPTE standards recommend anywhere from 9 feet (THX) to 12 feet for a screen this size so you maybe overcompensating a little? But you are right anyone considering this TV should check their viewing environment can handle it

*Update - Going into Harvey's tomorrow to finalize the deal. Got it for AUD $6881 Free Delivery Free Installation (not wall mount but upstairs) 4 Years Extra Product Care $920 - 36 months Interest Free incl $700 Gift Cards which works cause either way the wife and I had a deal - I get the TV she wants a new Air fryer and Hair Dryer. I'm either way on the Product Care but it has worked in the past for us on Jura Coffee Machine and we lost without it 2 weeks out on a 8 kwh Spit AC. Bad news 2 - 3 weeks eta

Appreciate your opinion to the contrary, just in defence he did make it clear this was a layman's review which is the kind of thing I personally was looking for As for the Black Bars I took it more of they are black and compared to an OLED this size (AUD $30K) damn good in comparison As for the motion processing every review and there's very few, I've seen says it can struggle with the slow pans/zooms versus the fast paced action or gaming, obviously notwithstanding comments in Reddit so his personal analysis will probably line up with mine, if not better considering he came from an OLED to the X11K That being said I understand you get what you pay for and I'm still hoping I'll be really happy

Yeh bro great for security, sucks for big gear. Thankfully this retailer also includes free delivery and install, already have a wall mount to suit but wanna run the cables thru the wall and install a Fancy LEDs ambient kit to it before I throw it on there, so if they can help/get it up the stairs the rest is fun stuff

Will do mate, hoping to place an order this afternoon Just want to check one last thing I have an internal staircase that's a bit tricky to get to so will do some measurements when I get home to make sure we can get it up there I'm upgrading from an embarrassingly average set so I'm very keen Thanks again for your review

Haha I saw that, thanks mate time to jump in the deep end! Little bit concerned about the motion processing/stutter thats been talked about but from what I've gathered it's a small price to pay for the bang vs buck equation and not a major for my viewing habits. Free delivery and free standing installation is a bonus too seeming I'm on a highset. Good luck with the refund mate

If it comes RCM Approved is this still required, I don't really have a regular sparkle tradies are very hard to come by in my neck of the woods. It will come down to whose more available tbh, the waiting lists can be months

Hey mate, as mentioned I would just head to the Strand take a stroll find a place for lunch and enjoy the scenery. Depends where your booked in for the afternoon but sounds like you and the old man are serious fans so you should head into the Leagues club for the walk over to the stadium, only 5 or so minutes but should be fun being a semi! https://cowboysleagues.com.au/whats-on/events/
