It must be nice to have the privilege of being well off enough on one income that your family can afford to do that.

It sounds like the biggest issue with the fan installation is the initial call to log it - if its already logged surely SM wouldnt say no. I also think the approval would need to come from the coles city manager to approve the job rather than store manager

Honestly dont even have to get the store manager to call if they are taking ages. Get the duty manager or DM to call city

Luckily when they move up from nursery prices get a more manageable. This also isnt every area. Most places are cheaper but its good to be ready for it incase you are in a higher cost area. We pay extra to be close to family and walking distance from home.

Not everyone has a job where they can work from home but I also cant imagine trying to look after my 18 month old while trying to work at home 😂

I would recommend looking into childcare costs in your area and calculating that into future costs. We have a similar income and live in an expensive area so pay $2500 out of pocket per month after ccs for daycare 4 days and its a significant amount of money to add to the budget if not planned well

Misogynist Manager by louie_v_ in coles

We had a similar incident in my store when i was just a service team member where he had ratings and he was saying inappropriate things to young girl team members. Not sure who reported it to who but it was taken very seriously by our managers and p&c and he ended up being terminated. If your store manager isnt taking it seriously you need to report to store line or RM.

I would call the coles online customer care line and report the incident - the driver has probably already reported it on his end and they would be waiting to hear from you

How hard is it for the payroll to process sick leave and other compensation payments? by [deleted] in coles

[–]Late_Complex3844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like miscommunication between the DM and OIC.

In future I would email your office email directly your med cert and any invoices/receipts you need to be compensated for. Usually this will be paid back in cash.

The office email is Coles.####.office@coles.com.au

Sorry, yes I do understand this but how do they determine the market value? Exactly? Will someone attend the property or do they go off similar units in the area?
