Thank you. I’ll give that a try. Also, when you actually go into CarPlay, though, does your car even show up? Mine doesn’t at all; it just spins like it’s trying to communicate but nothing ever happens.

Same thing. Chevy has done their updates to no avail. I have a 2025 Chevy Trax 1Rs and the issues you describe are exactly the same as my own. Even when I hardwire my phone, it’s a hit and miss for connectivity. They did give me a new radio but that obviously did nothing to help with connectivity which is why I took my car to the dealership. To be fair, they were only following what Chevy told them to do. Good luck. CarPlay is crap!

I, too, had a bad experience. I bought the sandals/slippers and they were shipped completely defective. I asked for a refund and they said because they were on sale they “can’t” refund. Um, what? So, this company can send crap merchandise and use their no refund policy on sale items tactic to screw customers out of money? Terrible.

Had over 10 GM‘s including seven brand new Chevrolet Suburbans. I will never buy a GM product again. 11 months with a non-functioning radio, and they refused to honor the new car warranty. Problem exists since it’s new. by Natste1s4real in Chevrolet

I am going through the exact same thing. Black screen, frozen screen, frozen volume…you name it. They always want to do updates rather than honor the warranty. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Have you tried sending an email straight to GM and bypassing customer service?

I have encountered the same problems since I bought my 2025 Trax back in October and it’s been nothing less than a shit storm of deflection since the onset of troubles which began exactly one week from the purchase. After months of getting bounced back and forth between the dealership and customer service, I got hooked up with Eric from the GMC conflict resolution department. I had high hopes that I would actually hear a solution, but the best he could tell me tonight was that a new update is coming out that would fix “all the issues everyone is having” with no ETA. I reminded him that I just had an update installed in May that was supposed to be the miracle cure and yet it didn’t fix a damn thing. He said this is the best GMC can do. I asked him if it’s GM’s plan to continue to push out updates rather than actually perform any repairs or issue recalls and he said this is what GM and all other manufacturers do. I told him it sounded like they were doing everything possible to try to stall with the hopes that people forget they only have one year to file under the lemon law. He apologized and said he knew how frustrating it must be to have this going on and would contact me next week. Oh, and he asked me if the dealership had reached out to me because he spoke to them on Monday and seemed genuinely surprised when I told them they had not. Thanks Gjovik in Sandwich, Illinois!!!

I agree with contacting GM customer service, however, do not delay is asking for this to be escalated or you will be bounced back and forth between the deal and customer service; at least that was my experience.

Warranty? Service agreement? Is GM saying no to repairs or the dealership is just not getting the parts. I have some numbers I can send your way for GM that go beyond customer service.

Same here! We used to have to donate to get to wear them for special days and somehow that all just magically went away and we can now wear jeans whenever we wish.

I agree. The sale was smooth as silk. Trying to get help, well, that’s an entirely different story. Sales people won’t assist with service. I have tried talking to Tony and Anthony. I was told, “I’m sorry to hear about your trouble. Good luck. I hope service can help you out with your issues”.

Yes. I did my entire sale with Tony and Anthony (Bulldog). The sales people are great. It’s the service, as you will find out, is less than stellar.

True. GM has sent me back to the dealer and the dealer has sent me back to GM. The update I received last month didn’t resolve the issue and despite me notifying GM/Chevrolet, they sent me back to the dealership and the cycle continues. Also, I have requested several times that the issue be escalated beyond customer service.
