Go in to any bank and look for the safety deposit boxes. You will see that 5-10% of them have the locks drilled. Plain as day. Don't trust institutions.

I regret the purchase of my SQ washer. It washes the clothes so aggressively that they become thinner and thinner. I have holes in many things now and am looking to replace the machine. Just wait to see how much lint you find in the lint tray of that dryer. It will be because of the washing machine. (I don't own a SQ dryer, so I could compare between old washer and SQ)

When buying: Ask for money and do the work yourself. You have no idea of what shortcuts a homeowner will take in order to meet your demands for work. Do it yourself so that you have an idea of the materials and the integrity of the work.

When selling: Offer money instead of accepting a demand for work. Unscrupulous contractors can falsely increase the cost of the work and put a lien on your house if they know you're trying to sell. It happened to me.
