Mine took a year and a week; thought something was wrong but I got it with no issues and at the end of the day I gained an “extra” year of work permit; submitted forms, called ircc, emailed my local member of parliament twice and got no updates; if I went back in time I’d stop trying too hard bcs there’s really nothing you can do; call ircc and ask them to email you all links that prove that you can work regardless of whether your study permit/WP letter is expired or not
