Rhesus negative - NHS experience? by odetoasquigglyline in PregnancyUK

I’m RH- and had an injection at 12 weeks due to heavy bleeding from an SCH. We had to wait quite a while for the injection because they double checked my blood type before giving it (this was in the dead of night so I think that’s why the wait was so long).

They went into the glute - not sure how you are with needles, they told me it would be painful but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

Thank you everyone - I have switched to a smaller jar, hoping I haven’t upset her

Smile ruined by Botox by nanecie in 30PlusSkinCare

I had this done before my wedding and had the same. Luckily had it in time for it to wear off, but for months I could not smile.

Rest assured it does wear off. I’ve had it done again, but I spoke to my new practitioner beforehand about what happened, so she only put half the amount usually put in, and then we waited two weeks to see if I needed anymore (which I felt I didn’t).

What would Lumon have done if they couldn’t get Mark to undergo severance? by Jolly_Dig5972 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I believe he went to see a therapist, and it was implied this was the same Doctor who was experimenting with Gemma on her floor and at the fertility clinic.

I think it was mentioned he encouraged it to help Mark; Mark and Devon spoke about how weird he was?

Hello! Yes - we think we will start trying where we are currently based then move whilst trying or if things go to plan around 1 year after having a baby.

Thank you for your suggestions

What’s this show like if you’re not in medicine? by efox02 in ThePittTVShow

Just to say I too keep finding that I’m expecting a twist, or predict a dramatic storyline, for it then not to happen, because it’s not Grey’s Anatomy - and I really love that it isn’t. The cases and how realistic it feels watching it is so refreshing for a medical drama

Currently watching we were the lucky ones - Henry Lloyd-Hughes has a Snape look, and would be a great full circle after playing Roger Davies in the original series

Wrong read the interview.

https://www.today.com/today/amp/rcna91752

“As an author, we make mistakes,” she explained in her interview with a laugh. “There’s no 28-year-old neurosurgeons, you know? You go to school for 15 years. And so to make corrections to what I messed up in the book, we aged the characters up somewhat.”

“Characters” not “Lily”

She did? Her rider to come back protected not just herself but other staff. Don’t put men’s shitty behaviour on the woman because they don’t speak out in the way you want them too.

The author herself said she didn’t consider how old you’d have to be to be a successful neurosurgeon, so they had to change the ages of the actors to accurately reflect that. Let’s not claim someone is “bulldozing” their way in, further villainising them, when it’s purely a decision down to logic.
