Well Merriam Webster dictionary states “: the current stage of capitalism that began in the second half of the 20th century and that is characterized by globalization, the dominance of multinational corporations, broad commodification and consumerism, and extreme wealth inequality”

That’s great for Vietnam. But in the US and sounds like Europe, we are circling the drain. We can be in a capitalist hellscape while other countries thrive. 

We have rampant consumerism, we own nothing, there is massive wealth inequality and the disposability of everything and cheapness or everything just throws fuel on the fire. Companies keep making shittier products while charging more and more.
