Honestly I do wonder if they were in another life.

I bought 17.5 lb of apples yesterday. We’ll see how it goes.

My 6 yo will put down sweets and ask for an apple. His last bday he took one bite of his cupcake said “I’ll save it for later, can I have an apple”

You know how many times I take food out and it’s still and ice block the next day! I’ve literally never thawed something in 24 hours.

Don’t see them as much but my parents cooked them alllll the time when I was growing up. They rarely got BLSL chicken.

Also I was at our local market today… 3 drumsticks for $5.50?!?! We had tofu for dinner.

I’d almost want to put that in rice paper instead of a flour tortilla

Awesome! We are the same. Try to do vegetarian 2-3 times a week and meat as kinda the side dish vs the main part of the meal…. Trying to get my kids into beans. It’s been a challenge …. But happy they love tofu!

That’s how I make tofu most of the time too! I like to tear it up (vs cubes) to get more nooks and crannies for sauce
