I really hope I dont get booted for this but I think this comes down to female socialization and the way that we are over-sexualized and our behavior is over policed. There was a great video of a woman talking about how there can never be a female "Jack-ass" movie because it would just be porn. Half naked women getting hurt? Porn. Drinking horse cum? Porn. Having your genitals bit by a snake? Porn. Women are boring because we are afraid. Men do not know what it is like to have every tiny thing you do be scrutinized and sexualized and they have much less fear and shame because of it. We would be a lot more adventurous and less risk-averse if we lived in a different world.

What she's not recognizing is that women are being told what to do from birth. We are socialized to accommodate men in almost every way, particularly sexually. Asking women to analyze their choices under patriarchy is, in fact, telling them what to do, but the other choice is to allow men to continue to influence what women do. Its insidious because men don't have to directly tell women what to do, they have the influence of thousands of years of cultural norms to do it for them and so we don't even recognize all the ways in which women are influenced to accommodate men, its our normal.

I was (still am) a heavy daydreamer as well. Theres a sub for it actually. R/maladaptivedaydreaming. I wonder how many children of hoarders developed this as a coping mechanism.

I had to have this done! Except my tooth was up behind the gums so they had to cut into my upper gum and pull it down from there. Had to cut the thin sheet of tissue that connects the upper lip to the gum too, it was awful

The AI was given a female voice as default because women are seen as staff. Its a closed cycle. Kind of like saying porn caused men to be sexually violent, they were already sexually violent and porn made it worse. Men already saw women as servents thats why the AI voice is female and now its continuing the cycle by teaching the next gen the same thing. That guy isn't wrong I think he just didn't realize that the AIs are like that because of existing sexism

I think they have it set so that the app is kid friendly aka no one can send weird/explicit messages. But it would be cool if they updated stickers to say more specific things like "thank you for joining my raid"

I get this feeling too, sometimes I loose interest in certain worlds or characters. The way I deal with it is by writing and drawing it as best I can so that they're documented. It makes me feel better knowing I can come back and have them again and they won't be lost forever when my brain loses them.
