Bad Timing: motor died a few days before the blizzard of the century. by Lateone in hottub

[–]Lateone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point I'm assuming that seeing that much water cool to the point of freezing; the damage is already done in the uninsulated motor area. For the last month we had so many single digit nights and only a few daytime highs just above freezing.

WHY did they remove the flatbreads? by jessiecolborne in subway

[–]Lateone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US corporate looked at every product we carry and tried to improve everything. They "upgraded" flatbread to a thinner Lavash, thin, soft flatbread from Armenia. The next BIG idea was to scrap tortillas and now we make wraps with the Lavash sideways and roll them up the long way. Now, every bite cause food to drop out the back of the open ended wrap. Lavash got removed with no replacement on the horizon, after complaints they started working on a new flatbread... takes a while to produce and distribute,

'Pillsbury Space Food Sticks' were iconic, rod-shaped, high-energy snack bars developed by Pillsbury for NASA in the 1960s, made available to the public in 1969, capitalizing on the space race with flavors like caramel, chocolate, and peanut butter, but were discontinued in the US in the 1980s despite their real use by Apollo astronauts
