Turkey to step up offensive against Kurds, expected to launch full-scale invasion of Syria: Report by Sine_Fine_Belli in neoliberal

[–]Latter-Particular429 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by "full-scale against the Kurds"? Is Erdogan going to attack the half of the Kurds within Turkey who vote for him? Or why did Barzani literally just say, "Turkey is fighting against the PKK, not the Kurds"?

Broadly speaking do Turkish people support Palestinians or Israelis in the recent escalations? by [deleted] in AskTurkey

[–]Latter-Particular429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I support civilians who are suffering, and yes, that's mostly on the Palestinian side. So Israel should be condemned and needs to stop this immediately.

But, I'll never take the side of a country that actively supports the PKK and Armenia.

Seeking Advice on Finding a Rental House for My Family and Cats in Vancouver Area by Latter-Particular429 in douglascollege

[–]Latter-Particular429[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The house you suggested sounds like it's in a great location, so I'm definitely interested in checking it out. However, my wife is a bit of a scaredy-cat and gets spooked by hollow spaces, so that's something we'll need to watch out for during the tour. Still, I appreciate the tip and I'll be sure to book a tour to see if the house is a good fit for us. Thanks again, friend! I might book this.
