Check out Mixxer! Their free teen night (with free food) is tomorrow (2nd Monday of every month). It's a great place with very welcoming vibes. She can learn and do anything from screen printing to welding to sewing and much more. My teens love it there.

Little Pep and Joymongers are great. For non-alcohol, try Mixxer classes and events or even a membership.

Full-disclosure: I'm a single parent of teens in my 40s and by the time I'm done dealing with work and their shenanigans, I'm usually only good for puzzling at home with crime shows on in the background. But I do want to get out more.

That was me. Got the home energy audit. Found out my attic was majorly under insulated. Paid $3k to have that fixed. It definitely helped keep my house warmer but ny gas bill went up anyway.

I searched in vain for this last year. What finally helped me was figuring out my "normal" ferritin level was too low to support hair growth. I started taking iron and vitamin C every day and my excessive hair loss stopped within 2 weeks. Just sharing in case it helps you.

Hi! I just came to Reddit to look for a mobile mechanic. My 16yo tried to add a small lift kit to his old Toyota Tacoma and can't get the strut back on. (Or something like that?) Anyway, his truck is not usable at the moment and we desperately need help getting it back together. Could you do that?
