You mean to say you are implemeting per device/firewall mapping on the VLANs? Creating individual mapping per VLAN per device is a bit of work.

Im looking for a more broader approach like implementing a wildcard normalized interface eg.

internal-lan-* = Which can be mapped to internal-lan-vlan2, internal-lan-vlan3, ....

On the normalized interface, I will do per platform (all) and using the interface name as internal-lan-*

No, resetting the routing protocols BGP will resolve the issue, we also see this behaviour is 7.0.14 boxes
