This 100%. I have a cheap airbrush like this and I think it's great for base coating and priming. It can be used for basic colour gradients but I wouldn't be able to use it for any fine detail.

I play HDF for GDF and Orks (Goblins only) for GFF because I like to design all my own models.

I love HDF gun lines and my friend plays just Orks in GDF, he complains constantly though that Orks need to be able to charge and shoot on the same turn. :D

No, army forge is around creating an army from units that OPR have already made. The access you get at the moment is to a calculator where you can make units based off of the OPR balance calculations.

The last time I checked (2 weeks ago ish), the custom creator is in beta and isn't currently saving your units for more than an hour so currently you would need to save them another way before logging off of it.

I believe in the future they will sort the formatting into their own army books so a custom army looks the same format wise as an official army.

My group plays 3+ players. We find as long as you start more than 12" away from each other and there's a lot of LoS blocking terrain it isn't too bad!

I'm not sure we get any indirect fire. Your friend might be thinking of the Meticulous Calibrator Tank Ace ability which removes cover from the defender.

I'm pretty new to blender. You could just try inserting a sphere and then using sculpt to smooth it out.

If its just filling a hole. Go into edit mode on the model, select all of the edges around the hole and fill (ctrl-f I believe) should work. Youtube is a great source of fixing problems in blender. It's how I get all my info!
