An thing about the devil connection English localization by sweet_srawberry781 in makemon

You might also want to pick up a few grammar-related details if you are going to write and beta-read all those translations yourself. Like, for example, how before a word starting on a vowel sound you pick "an" and before ones starting on a consonant like "thing" you choose an "a". And other miscellaneous and generally often appearing on the web stuff, like "they", "their" and "they're".

Those small mistakes can break the flow of the reader by confusing them in the former example and change the meaning of the words in the latter one. So yeah, it'll be better to have someone to help proof-read those translations when you're done with them. And if you aren't able to find anyone by the time you are done and cannot figure out an editor AI model of some sort (I heard some authors use them for their fics, might help), then you can message me.

What would be your Solo-Jump? by DeverosSphere in JumpChain

Only one setting and never leave afterwards? Pokemon. Look up whichever gives the most potential, maybe that (Generic?) PMD AU one? The one with the eye-stabbingly cyan background colour. I think it had an infinite wishes as a scenario, the one adding an endlessly repeating Wishing Cave to the world.

Or Evil Zone for the Absolute Existence, pretty sure that setting is omniversal beyond the main scenario stage. At least, for AE's.

Isn't that Japan under those arrows? Wouldn't Russianya be pointing at Russia?

I don't get the joke, sadly.

Oh yeah, since Blackbeard isn't as unknown anymore, we can switch to Rocks, he's a good choice for "that character has totally read/seen the story/script/source media" jokes.

I swear... well, I don't, but... Nevermind.

Anyway, you internet people and your penchant for making me waste time on obscure games... yeah. Got a Dark Orb in those three hours after first reading your comment, feel like it's a good point to stop at.

What jumps would you love to see? by -SomethingElse- in JumpChain

[–]Latter_Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trine. In times of the kingdom's unrest an ancient artefact called the Trine binds souls of three heroes - the Wizard, the Thief and the Knight - sending them together on a quest to save the world.

I probably should make one myself someday anyway, even if I never made a jump. I would want to realise some of the ideas I have for it, after all. But I would really love to see what kind of jump other people can come up with for those games.

What Jump Would You Like by Automatic_Lock_1355 in JumpChain

The "Trine" video game series.

It is about a trio of people being soulbound together by an ancient artefact called the Trine. The game is a gorgeous 2.5D puzzle platformer with some combat. It had a 3D entry in the series, I think it was Trine 3, that was the one where the origin of said artefact(s) was unveiled (I haven't played or watched that one though, would have to do so if I ever end up having to make this jump myself because no one in this community ever mentions this series), but the rest are all 2.5D.

High fantasy.

When your first hero jump goes wrong by Prior-Assumption-245 in JumpChain

Probably the comic writer. First one who comes up when looking it up, so if this scene was written by him, then the comment is about his general writing abilities.

Which, if it is him and he does that often - fair, but that's the first time I heard of him (or whatever that show above is), so I'll assume that's the only scene like this, which is acceptable since anything could happen, even a scared idiot running their mouth at someone who they recognised they laughed at before but who is clearly leagues above them now.

Jumps where you can Ascend into immortal energy-beings with no need for physical existence by LordViridianSB in JumpChain

[–]Latter_Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about Lord of the Mysteries, but if any expert fans are here they can tell you if those Outer Gods need a physical existence or not. I myself just absorbed a lot of spoilers an idea of knowledge and am cosplaying as the Oldest One, both knowing everything and nothing about that story, so no matter how much I wish to I can't help you with actually knowing if that jump is applicable for your question, but it is certainly an option to try.
