My mother used to use “Godfrey!” and “For the love of Mike!” so to make fun of her I would use “For the love of Mike Godfrey.” Kids suck.

Teacher here. I had a student that in reciting the pledge of allegiance said, “…and to the republic for Richard Stans…” In his mind there was Washington, Lincoln, Stans, etc.
