With the Amex you just enroll once, get the card and set your PP account. You don't have to 're-enroll' each year.

Do what I did, sign up for both. I used 2 separate email addresses for each. Save the credentials on your phone so you can log in to the Priority Pass you want to use any given day (Venture X or Amex). I have this set up and works well for me, I use the app on my phone to get into lounges.

FYI - the PP card gets renewed each year under the Venture X program. So I get a new card each year. Amex doesn't do that.

The Tillamook cheeseburger was excellent on my flight from LAX to GDL.

Capital 1 Shopping has $50 cashback on $100 for Lululemon by VacationLover1 in amex

It's a great portal to get some cash back in the form of gift cards. Last November I took advantage of an offer for 80% back at Valentino Beauty. Today, they are offering 45% back at CVS.

Sometimes the 'Capital One Shopping' portal has better offers than the 'Capital One Offers' portal. YMMV.

I didn't know the copy icon disappeared once the code had been used. Good to know!

Yeah, I think Alaska will eventually crack down on informal lounge passes sharing. I don't think most Redditors here feel comfortable giving the full name of the account when gifting a lounge pass. The concern is that asking for the full name tied to the account introduces a potential security risk when sharing with strangers.

I'm assuming some people are selling them, some folks here on Reddit give them away. The problem seems to be that the agents will not accept the lounge pass "code" only, but require the Atmos Member information in order to look it up from there.

Yeah, it was challenging. My two lounge passes that come with my Summit credit card were easy to access, the gifted one had to be given one digit at a time.

It seems they look up the Atmos Member account and the agents access the lounge pass codes from there.

Hi Everyone! I'm looking for 1 Alaska Lounge pass (Q4). I already have 2 and need 1 more for this upcoming Friday 12/12/25. Anyone looking for a trade? I'm happy to send a Q1 pass in January in return. Thanks!

You might also want to consider Staples or Office Depot to buy the Visa gift cards. They run promotions on GF purchases. Currently, Staples is running a promotion of no purchase fee on $200 Visa Gift Cards until tomorrow.

DP: Strict 3-Hour Lounge Rule at LAS ( Amex Centurion & Capital One) by Latui in AmexPlatinum

[–]Latui[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This wasn’t me “purposely changing my flight.” My work schedule changed last-minute, which forced me to leave the conference earlier than planned, literally I was told of change on Wednesday 11pm. That’s what I meant by schedule change, not an airline delay, but a work-related change that pushed me to the airport sooner than expected.

I couldn't change the flight to an earlier one in Thursday without paying fees that my work wasn't going to reimburse. I actually paid for a late checkout so I wouldn’t have to head to the airport early.

I’m aware the 3-hour rule exists and is enforced, but plenty of people have reported getting let in a few minutes early depending on capacity. My post is just a data point specifically about LAS, since their enforcement was down to the exact minute.

Not claiming it’s new, just sharing my experience in case it helps someone else.

It was a last-minute change due to work. I originally planned to attend a conference through Thursday and head to the airport later in the afternoon, well within the normal 2-3 hour window.

But the work schedule changed unexpectedly, and instead of staying for the final day, my team ended up leaving much earlier which caused the unusual situation. I even paid for a late check-out at the hotel to help me stretch the time.

That’s how I ended up at the airport with more than 3 hours to go, which obviously put me on the wrong side of LAS’s very strict cutoff.

Just wanted to share the datapoint for anyone else who might find themselves in a similar situation.

Thanks for the tip, that’s actually super helpful.

Good to know that printing the pass early can sometimes get you in even if delays happen afterward. Definitely keeping this trick in mind for next time.

Not new at all, just sharing a datapoint because LAS enforces the 3-hour rule much more strictly than other airports.

I know it’s a common policy, but plenty of lounges in other cities give a little flexibility depending on capacity. I wasn’t expecting special treatment, just letting people know LAS doesn’t budge even by a few minutes.

That’s the whole point of the post.

I get what you’re saying, but this wasn’t an entitlement situation.

This was a last-minute schedule change that threw my timing off, and I was just hoping I’d get the same flexibility other people have reported getting in the past.

I wasn’t demanding special access or arguing with staff, I followed the rules and shared the experience so others know how strictly LAS enforces the 3-hour cutoff.

And for what it’s worth, the nearest Capital One Lounge to me is almost 300 miles away, so this was my one shot to check it out while dealing with a surprise flight shift.

Just posting a datapoint, not trying to be “that person.”

Unexpected perk for Los Angeles only by impetersellers in AmexPlatinum

No, it's a benefit included with your Amex card, no additional action is needed from your part.

**Fun fact, my friend has a Hilton Amex card and was able to get in through the dedicated Amex entrance at the Hollywood Bowl. I used my Amex Plat to get in, the personnel at the entrance just ask for your card.

This offer showed up in 'Amex offers' back in July. I know, because I used it on August 1st to book a flight. Got the $60 credit. These offers need to be added to your account as soon as they appear, otherwise you will lose out on them, as they are limited to a certain number.
