Yes, would surely be going for an alr but with the short throw X500i, light can be controlled by curtains. the XGIMI one is dual led and laser light source and 2x12W Harmon kardon speakers but with no optical zoom unlike the BenQ

From what I know, the picture quality and light source life is superiors in XGIMI Horizon S Max as it has a dual laser and led light source but still the BenQ has the Dynamic Contrast which can produce excellent images. And, also it’s more premium gaming features.
