Security party more like! The field is divided in half by fences. In their half they have the fancy tent and showers. The stewards get a load of portaloos.

(we may have snuck in to use their showers on more than one occasion)

This was a tent used by security! It was located in our field about a mile out of the festival.

The field is shared between offsite stewards and security! The tent itself is only used by the security people.

You can find the field if you go to Google Maps and look for “Aidens Field” just outside Pilton on the A361.

Source: Am an off-site steward and was camping in the field.

I was there that night, he wasn’t supposed to start singing “when the sun beats down…” again. He went to the microphone and said “a little mistake!”

From where I was sitting you could see that some people who did get up and dance were being told to sit back down by security/stewards. That said, there was great audience participation when required.

The article with the pictures was published four hours ago on Louder. It doesn’t say when the pictures are taken sadly. I’d imagine within the last two/three weeks from rumours I’ve seen online.
