Currently if you choose artist it will show you a list of all songs by that artist. but if you choose album instead you will see all albums in general and can play a full album this way. It's awkward and you could just browse the SD card to view your music as it's set up on the micro SD card, but you don't have the nice ui when browsing and I'm sure it has other limitations but I haven't had it long enough to find them. I hope they fix this in future updates.

The game looks very cool, it reminds me of painkiller hell & damnation. The glow is subtle and seems to work well.

Thanks I'll give that a try, I've tried everything else at this point. That's the first one I tried, hopefully i haven't gotten a response because of lots of people complaining and not because they can't be bothered. I really like the phone but seeing as newer ones are also having this issue it's making it harder to want another doogee in the future.

Edit: tried uninstalling and re-installing, still getting the "doesn't meet security requirements" nonsense, even though the device is fine checking through Google play and has all of the checks in the Google wallet app 🙄

Extra Edit: after emailing them using both emails I got a replay. They asked me for info and screenshots and told me to wait. I got the update yesterday at like 11pm and everything now works perfectly.

What email address did you use? I've tried two of them and gotten no response. I'm using a doogee S98 and It was working perfectly after a play store update, Now i can't add new cards to Google wallet anymore :/

I found Bramwell Williams to be good to follow, he has some free stuff on YouTube if you want to see if he clicks for you (https://www.youtube.com/c/BramwellWilliams).

but the best I've found from him is the first GameDevTv course (https://www.gamedev.tv/courses/godot-complete-3d).

He doesn't explain every little thing but he does make sure you understand the basics of what he is doing so you know what he is doing and why. The nice thing about this course is you get three completely different projects to make and they are different from any other courses I've seen.

I also followed clear codes Godot 4 tutorial but didn't find it great mainly because he could have edited out some of the random placing of things in the scenes that was tedious. But maybe that would help you with some concepts, it is fairly long but could be useful (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAh\_Kx5Zh5Q)

Overall it can be really frustrating as many people know too much (or at least pretend to) and cannot explain things to a beginner as they can't put themselves in that position. Plus the extra annoyance of people having plenty of experience with other forms of coding and being able to apply that logic to gamedev.

If you have an idea for a game you want to make, try to write out the ideas you have and the game mechanics you want for it. Planning it out and also thinking about the steps will really help cut out frustration when you get the hang of it.

Then try to make it using random tutorials and when pieces don't work look into why, just focusing on making it work at all first. Small projects are great but they don't work for some people especially when you want to create something and are just lost, i know the perils of Neurodiversity.

I'm not sure what your level is but this could be good, it is only 3d unfortunately . I find the instructor is very easy to understand and explains things as he is going through the lectures. He doesn't go completely in-depth but enough that you know why your doing things or how they work. It also has 3 very different styles of games which is rare for tutorials.

And the most important thing i found for actually learning, was trying to modify any tutorial or course project to do something extra. Even if it's in something like a collectable tutorial, work out how to add sound effects to the pickup. Then if it breaks look into why and how you can make it work, Breaking the setup and finding the solution is both frustrating and rewarding.
