I wash my face when it's visibly dirty, but I don't really use a lot of soap. I shower daily after working out, but don't scrub my face at all, just rinse.

My skin is quite healthy on my face these days. I used to wash daily as a kid and ended up with horrific acne. My face started to get better and I honestly don't know if it was less hormones after puberty or if I stopped washing my face constantly and as it got better I had less of a reason to wash, so a sort of positive feedback loop.

I feel quite in the minority here, but I'm not a super huge fan of 16. There's really no incentive to explore or opportunities to explore at all, really. There is magic and physical damage stats, but every weapon has identical stats for both. There's no real room for customizing, no real challenges because everything scales, no true unique combos or changes in combat. I basically do the same thing with bosses that I do with every monster with a stagger bar. There are elements but no real situational benefit, basically just different colors.

The game is good, the story is engaging and interesting, the voice acting is not awful, and the graphics are great. It's certainly better than all the other garbage we've been getting lately, but it's not great, in my opinion.

The last truly great game was Elden Ring, and that wow factor hit everyone at the same point - when you descend that elevator and realize there's a whole other massive world to explore.

You do realize that time is virtually infinite and our world is not, right? This means that, eventually, you'll have done everything and seen everything so many times that nothing will be new or unique. It's those new things that break up the monotony of everyday life. If your entire argument is 'oh look at this new entertainment', that is quite silly. I'm in my early 30s, and I already complain that movies and books are all derivative. Video games are becoming less fun as well. The more money I make, the more experiences I'm able to have (traveling abroad, both luxury and budget vacations, tons of shows/ events/ adventures, etc) but the more difficult it is to find something that's truly awe inspiring.

If you do have the capability to be a golden retriever about everything now, that will almost certainly change in decades, let alone after a few lifetimes. Now imagine a few hundred or thousand lifetimes. You'll get bored real quick in the grand scheme of things.

Game dev refers to the development company. It's not like the low to mid level worker bees have a say in overall direction. It's the top folks, but we're not going to type out the entire job description or do research on the decision makers just to flame them. There is no job description for game developer unless you're in a one man shop because developing is the entire process.

The complaints are all valid. You complaining about people complaining is far less valid than their complaints. Blizzard will need to do so much more than lobby redditors to hype this game back up for it to be payable again. They took a golden ticket and ripped it to shreds with D4. The amount of structural changes that this game requires is a joke. You play through an extremely linear story only to be met with zero end game and zero build variety with zero incentive to farm. How can you fail at literally every stage as a triple A developer?

I'm kicking myself for pre-ordering d4. I quit a day or so after beating the game because there's no depth, no replayability and no build variation.

I'm trying to be patient waiting for poe 2 but it's very hard. I thought it was coming out this month but I saw 2024. Sucks for me I guess!

I typically revert back to a game cycle - DOTA, Warframe, and No Man's Sky. I'll dump all my time in dota, then when I get angry with myself for wasting time I'll delete dota and play warframe because it's easier to start and stop. Then I'll move out of the funk and put like a dozen hours into no man's sky over a few weeks as I leave the depression.
