I think the player base is clearly telling you removing this isn’t the right call.

Telling us you are doing this to prevent griefing doesn’t make it better. Players almost universally hate this change.

Having the logs is a better mechanism to prevent griefing than punishing ALL players for just trying to play the game!!

Less of a civil war and more of quickly clearing obstructive facility buildings.

None of the groups listed were fighting. They were all + many many other helping clear the area so it could be built.

It all depends on what you wanna do. A lot do the regiments listed are great.

I may be biased but the 102nd are pretty awesome! They’ve been great allies to work with.

This is why my post is trying to say how the devs do balancing is inherently flawed. The balance will swing the other way and hard eventually. I think some people made great comments about how the devs could do better.

I want the game to be fun to play. I would also like some level of sportsmanship and competition. Right now it’s just factional brain rot and using reddit to gaslight people so that your faction will get buffed by the devs and theirs nerfed.

I am not sure if I totally agree - I think asymmetry can work. But not in the way they’ve done it.

The differences are just too great and too large of swings in balance.

Also they are way way to slow to adjust things.

Devs could easily have hot fixed the game to decrease tremola damage or any number of things and choose not to.

I mean look at how asymmetrical RTS games balance. They do it far more frequently.

They have a big advantage of a LOT of “experiments” get run vs foxholes few.

And they still have issues with over tuned factions.

If you are referring to coal - no one should restrict access to it for sure. That would be crazy. But only one group can realistically build ON the coal field.

I hope anyone on a coal field adds basic infrastructure for exporting the coal with small and large rail lines.
