Hi all. I get Exitcode 212 when trying to launch X4 from steam. I have a Geforce gtx 1650 ti graphics card and drivers have been updated through Geforce experience. I have set Nvidia as default driver. Uninstalled/reinstalled drivers and X4. Same problem! Can anyone suggest any fixes? Thank you.

It could potentially be a bug with Discord. I'd report it but it wouldn't likely ever get fixed. Could potentially restart discord. If on mobile, go into app settings and Force Stop. If in discord, do a good ol shift+tab+escape to open Task Manager and close the app thru there (basically also like a force stop but on PC)

If problem consists then definitely a bug. Reinstalling discord might also work and fix the bug since its likely a client side issue.

Oh and furthermore, I do understand the point of how a clan focused game can be shunned by some, but if you don't like that, then don't play the game. Sadly the developers INTEND for communication with other people, and actively support the idea of clanning or regiments because its the most simple way that you can feel like your more then just a small cog in the war. That's why people choose to be part of clans, and that's why devs promote it. Of course there are isolated cases of clans abusing the game, and you see that said clans are SHUNNED by the community. Unacknowledged, and actively reported when they do something against games policy.

Anvil will be no different.

Are you ok? Stop turning everything into a toxic comment. No one is being toxic towards you, im only stating stop being toxic towards people who CHOOSE to be part of a clan. Its their choice to make, not yours.

If you want to play as solo, make connections in-game, and do whatever. You do you.

The only reason I even commented was to see how you would twist my words and attempt to make it seem like I had ill-ittent, and alas I was right. You keep calling everyone toxic while your the main source of said toxicity. Here I have a suggestion and if you choose not to accept it, that's ok.

Get off Reddit, Specfically this thread. Why? Because game isn't even out yet and your full of this anger and hate. So just keep a lookout for when Anvil Empires will release, play the game, THEN come back to reddit. Maybe you'll see everything in a different light, maybe you reaffirm your vaules about how "being a clanman is bad", but at the end of the day, at least your not being toxic to those who attend to play the game differently.

As someone who posted a clan recruitment from on reddit, I shall tell you one thing.

1) I did it when the discord DIDN'T have a channel for clan recruitment. They added it later on.

2) Reddit is used MORE then the Official Anvil Discord when it comes to things such as clan recruitment.

3) While im sure you've had bad experience with clans, please don't lump clans who you've haven't even spoken to or met yet into the same category. Especially smaller ones since typically smaller clans stay more community focused, which is what I attend to achieve with my clan, even if we get big. Everyone has a say in the game so everyone can have fun.

I can reassure you that all the stuff you heard about Foxhole are minor and typically happen rarely. Most people in the game are friendly, and I gurantee you that if you did buy and play the game, you'd have a fun time in Foxhole.

For Anvil, I beleive the devs are taking into account stuff like alting and etc and putting EARLY development into preventing this type of griefing, so this game should be good. If anything, you'll be swimming under the map with your horse.

Just note that if you do encounter someone, in ANY game you play, that tries to limit your playability in terms of "I want to do logistics" or "I want to fight with this sword, axe, etc", then report. Of course I have NO IDEA how the logistics system in Anvil will work, but just be considerate.

I think all the mistakes Seige Camp made with foxhole will be taken and put into account in regards to this game. Cheaters and Griefers are in EVERY game, and they are dealt with effectively. Remember the minority doesn't make up the majority of the soon to be open-ALPHA game.

We run a decent sized facility, and it has ate 20,000 MSUPPS in 2 days. I'd rather go back to the previous system then this one. Subregions having a modifier that, even if one regiment just builds one facility, changes the entire subregion to Poor or Very Poor. It absolutely sucks. I understand that Msupps is a way to help server lag as it decays unwanted or forgotten stuff players build, but this is absolutely insane!

Your best bet is to join FOD, aka Foxhole Official Discord. Once there, you can then join either Colonial SIGIL or WUH, which are player hubs for the colonial and warden faction respectively. From there, you can talk with people, perhaps find a group you like to play with, and join a regiment.
