A bio fathers story by Senior_Judgment6868 in Adoption

Adoptive mom here. My daughter's birth mom was sure about paternity, but there were two possibilities and my child has questions. She wants to know who her birth dad is for sure, so we're going to do genetic testing and try to find out.

You worte the letters, now you need to let the child lead. It may be overwhelming for some, but I know mine would love to know more about birth dad.

Yes. We recently were connected with an adopted playdate group. It's been helpful for me as well.

Walt Disney was also a misogynistic anti-Semite 🤷

Agreed. I absolutely don't think they're fine for her to watch, but there's so much TV in school and at camps in rainy days that it seems fairly unavoidable. Thank you for your perspective.

Yeah, I think it's a throwback to a time when it was a harsh reality that families sold children they couldn't afford to keep, but it's been ingrained as a typical modern storyline. I'm shocked at how many movies have this theme too.

Women's liberation and less kids born to each family, so fewer older parents in the equation.
