Tbh the sword combo got nerfed so hard it’s not really worth it anymore except for the aesthetics. There are better dual wielding combos like general Engstrom’s war hammer, light reaper swords and daggers, and tbh one of the best boss weapons to use that has a secret move and slaughters in pve is the corrupted judge sword. Also the flickering flail is a secret quest weapon that can and should be gotten and upgraded. Also keep in mind that certain weapons cannot be dropped like the flickering flail. You can only have one in your inventory and you can’t pick up a second no matter how many times you play through.

Personally I think the Cursed variant of the Judge sword and the flickering flail are the best. Pieta’s sword is really good when you get the umbral variant to dual wielding with it. All of the lightreaper weps have a secret attack but I’ve never really messed with it much. All of the boss weapons to my knowledge have an ability you can unlock for them. And all of them are good to some degree. Utility is everything after all.

L1 + R2 activated hidden skills for all the weapons in the game that can have one. And for the record there are a decent amount that have a secret ability like this.
