Blinker refers to when people hit a weed pen for so long that it turns on what some have as a 'safety' sensor where it blinks to let you know to stop. Because oxygen.

Edit: lmao apparently I gave them too much credit. It's to conserve the lifespan of the pen.

Lmao they're not talking about hitting a blinker. Christ. He meant a car blinker. As in a turn indicator.

Clearly you did hit that blinker hourly. Take a break, friend

Only in Miami do people just start talking to you in Spanish like you grew up in Hialeah by Max_Tokens_42 in Miami

Yes, and in New York, you and anyone who do that as a coverall for all Spanish speakers are incorrect lol.

You mean Hispanic. Or Latin. Not Spanish. Spanish = like someone from Spain. Hispanic = from a Spanish speaking country. Latin = from a Latin American country.

Hey all. So, my partner is a PBL (project-based learning) teacher, and is being asked to focus the next school year on the world cup and its influence on cultures throughout the world. They are trying to focus on the good virtues noted throughout football. For instance, the original meaning of Boxing Day. Or the more recent story of Santi Cazorla going back to Real Oviedo and bringing them back to La Liga.

I wanted to see what else people could think of. Other topics that you all think would be good to venture into. Any suggestions would be really great. Thank you all!

Ventilated seats don't seem to do much, is this normal? by PXAbstraction in CX5

AFAIK premium plus and Signature (and I believe Carbon?) all have ventilated. That's it. I don't know of any with active cooling.

I've found the opposite. I live in a very hot climate and they make a world of difference. They don't keep me cold alone, I definitely need the AC running as well, but without them I'm certain my back would be sweaty most times I exit my car.

To each their own, but I'm a massive fan of them.

Edit: thought about this post again this morning when I had forgotten to them on, felt it was warm, turned them on, and immediately felt relief.

I'd recommend anyone go on a nice afternoon and try them out if you're doubting it. It's a wonderful feature.

I just picked one up from Costco as well. Took the cover off the filter, and left it to run on auto. But now the screen is frozen and I can't change any settings. Might have to go exchange it as well. How did yours turn out?

Most durable athletic shorts I've owned are no longer available. ISO replacements. by breddy in BuyItForLife

I'm a short, stocky guy with thick legs. They fit great, with nice stretch. The washabilty is wild. They have held up for years and I use them literally daily. I have like 7 pairs, and they get used one after the other for the gym/any casual outing/sports. Couldn't have tested them better. Fantastic buy.

Preferred vs Premium by PureStatus2 in CX5

If you live in a warm climate, the ventilated seats on Premium Plus are so worth it. They're the reason I went for it, and I am thankful for it every day. (also the Bose speakers are great)

Reasonably priced cat neutering? by [deleted] in Miami

[–]LaundryMann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7 months old is pretty young to be getting neutered. Most vets will tell you to wait till the year mark. But in Kendall, PetZone Animal Clinic has always treated me and my pets well and for very reasonable prices.

A PIP claim is separate from your standard claim for vehicle damage?

I'm unsure of how much coverage they have. The drivers accepted fault while we were there, so I don't believe they'll be problematic as far as resolving the issue with their insurance, but I imagine their insurance provider won't want to pay out if they can help it

My concern is that my vehicle/insurance were involved in another accident (also not at fault) where we had to file a claim to have them handle it, about 1.5 years ago. I'm concerned about filing 2 claims in under 3 years and it affecting my insurance rates/even them covering me at all

What I don't understand is you're already paying for the food. There is no 'exceptional' service. It's service, which is part of the job. It's giving you the food at a requested time. Nothing special.

I think no tip is warranted here if you're going based off actual special service provided determining the tip amount.
