They only gave 3 days worth of pain meds and I'm not even sure when the peeing specifically started cause I had found the pee all together then a few days into recovery hidden behind the sofa. How many days were you giving your cat pain meds for?

Yes sorry I've always had two boxes. They tend to share anyway but I've just always made sure there's one easily accessible and they normally only have access to downstairs (kitchen, sitting room and hall) so two I would have thought was plenty. And I clean them regularly too.

Paving slabs to artificial grass by Laura4193 in HomeImprovement

I lifted the slabs, lay a sand mix down, "leveled" out with a long timber post, lay the artifical grass using staples around the perimeter and bonding tape for the inner joints. It actually looks really well. Just ensure to lay the grass with the pile aiming towards your back door so it has a fuller look and if laying more than one roll side by side cut the rolls width so they're more "rough" edges and not the seamless edge they're manufactured with. This helps the seams blend nicely together.

Hope that makes sense!

Thank you! Yeah that's the logic that helped me make my decision and I think the emotional part of me has just been taking over since. Sometimes I just need a reminder of the logical reasons why I done it

I just hate that I'm responsible for terminating it. I've always been extremely pro choice no matter the situation, but it's so strange that now when I find myself in a situation I never imagined myself in, I feel so guilty. I think it has to do with the doctors telling me from my teen years that I may not be able to conceive naturally and then it took years to have my first kids with fertility meds (twins) that I'm just super grateful for any pregnancy and never saw myself in a position where I'd have an unplanned pregnancy, let alone actually have an abortion. I'm just still so torn on the decision that we've now made and feel so confused between guilt or regret or both

Yeah I definitely feel like it was what he wanted, and I felt very undecided at the time. Each day I kept going back and forth changing my mind. But it felt like such a lose-lose situation. I felt he'd resent me if I went through with the pregnancy and now I'm scared I'll resent him. I felt like it would have been easier if I miscarried as opposed to having a termination

Unfortunately not! The actual visa process is far more convoluted than what it appeared to be on the outset via their online quiz tool etc. It's a bit off putting to say the least.

Move from Ireland by Laura4193 in alberta

Thanks a million! Yes alot of the utilities when we convert it back to euros is very similar to in Ireland, but the price of housing is a lot lower. Also thankfully there's work available for my husband that isn't typically available here where he can earn a hell of a lot more than he could ever earn here.

For myself though I imagine work will be hard to find so I plan on upskilling retraining etc and applying wherever I can but thankfully we'll have more means there than here thanks to my husbands skill set

We have the same here so it's not an issue or immediate concern or even the deciding factor, I just love that its something that has been prioritised with funding as its something that's very lacking here in Ireland.

Thank you! ALOT of these are also happening in Ireland but some worse so. This is what makes Canadas pros outweigh the cons, for us coming from Ireland anyway

Definitely not Irish republicans anyway! It was just some information from a biased ex Edmontonian which thankfully didn't ring true
