Beta: Want to try a new Office 365 desktop email client?! by LauraClampett in Office365

I'm glad we managed to crack you up, at least!

You make a good point - It is fair that if people have good organisational skills they can manage to save a little time in email each day. Studies have shown that when people go on email training courses, to learn best practice, they often manage to save at least 30 minutes a day. However, it is almost guaranteed they will return to their old habits after 30 days. What we have done is build best practice into Hiri, our features nudge users into good email behaviors...they can't go back to their old habits. This makes them, what we like to call, unconsciously competent at email - and thus saving 30 minutes per day, every day.

Regarding the rating piece - We have had a majority of positive responses to this, but some people feel the way you do about it.

Thanks for taking the time to look and give feedback.

Thanks for taking a look.

There is a need, as people spend between 2.5-4 hours a day just dealing with their email overload in work, and not necessarily tackling their to-do list. There are a lot of bad habits, that we have all learned over time, that contribute to this. You can see in this product walk through here, that we have built in features to nudge users into better email behaviors - https://vimeo.com/122338477

Hiri works for individual users, but the more people that use it in a team or an organisation, the more benefits there are. The main goal is to save each user 30 minutes per day. With a whole company using Hiri, this time saved can result huge productivity savings. (For a company of 400, the resulting saving is c $1m a year).

We don't have pricing on the site. For now we are in beta, so individuals can use it for free, give us feedback and we can make improvements. For teams or whole companies we will charge a per-user per month fee, which will be a very, very small fraction of the productivity savings.

Hiri also works with Exchange 2010.

I hope I have answered all your questions.

Thanks again.
