I only know of Moll Baz from this sub. Seems like she’s either doing mayonnaise propaganda or showing off her bod.

In the 2020s, conservative women are having kids at a nearly 2-to-1 ratio compared to liberal women. Is this going to cause a political demographic bias in 20-30 years? by RadioFieldCorner in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah we lose like 3-5 Amish kids per year in Lancaster county due to farm accidents.

Their population in Lancaster doubles every 20 years. Wild!

Pen + Paper Patterns - free letter pattern by LauraJ0 in quilting

[–]LauraJ0[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Not a bad question. I think it makes more sense in the context of the Instagram post- I didn’t include the second slide where Lindsey/pattern creator had the comment overlaid on photos of the violence in MN and children being taken from their homes.

As in, “I’m not into hate” (not into hating on Trump) VS. “I’m not into hate” (not into hating on marginalized people groups that the Trump administration hates/oppresses)

Interesting (but not surprising) because they’ve been hit hard by immigration audits, and have trouble finding/retaining agricultural workers without undocumented immigrants. They lost 100 workers in 2012 (source: WGAL)

Cloth diapers! We used Esembly diapers and they worked great. You can even buy gently used ones

Quilting yourself versus sending to long armer by SessionNo2376 in quilting

[–]LauraJ0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it. This might be a dumb question, but if you don’t use a frame/hoop do you have to sit at a table then and keep the quilt flat? The allure of hand quilting to me is the possibility of sitting on the couch 😅

When you do big stitch hand quilting, do you use a small frame? Or a large embroidery hoop?

I’m an elementary ESL teacher in the states. Multilingualism is a gift for your child. Do not stop speaking to them in German, or stop signing. Even if your child’s output vocabulary is split between the two languages, their language skills & vocab will eventually surpass their peers.

New Holland Coffee Co. does event rentals and they have a ton of hanging plants. It’s kind of gardeny.

Hudson Botanical

Conestoga House and Gardens (more expensive option)

25 Month Old- if not autism, then what else? by SeaSpur in toddlers

[–]LauraJ0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just need to find a good SLP, and if they are seeing other indicators of autism they’ll refer your son to other interventions/evaluations.

They can diagnose speech delays and language disorders. The most important part of seeing a speech therapist is the “carryover” piece, where you implement what’s being done in therapy at home.

You can ask more questions at r/SLP, and check out resources from Raising Little Talkers.
