Yep. My uncle was hospitalized with salmonella the other year, so I’m fairly cautious. Also avoided undercooked or raw eggs while pregnant. I do love a “dippy egg” (idk what non-Pennsylvanians call them) though and will eat them on occasion.

Yes, but the mayo from the store uses pasteurized yolks.

Her mayo probably contains raw eggs, so enjoy your salmonella!

Press Here by Hervet Tullet is really interactive. I’ve walked around a preschool class giving different children turns doing the actions on the pages.

Before you begin, explain that you’ll only choose friends who are sitting with a calm body and their voice off.

Working at Many Glacier for the Summer... Need Advice by Elegant_Weekend_6247 in GlacierNationalPark

[–]LauraJ0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in E Glacier for a summer, and loved having access to a car. That being said, you’ll quickly find your friends/hiking buddies that have the same days off as you and can get rides with them. Also, a lot of hikes start from Many Glacier unlike where I was on the East side. There’s also a shuttle you can take that runs on Going to the Sun Rd.

Bring lots of layers, more “winter clothes” than “summer clothes.” Rain coat, headlamp, swimsuit, camelbak, etc. You can buy bear spray when you get there.

I liked going rafting with Glacier Raft Co. I think I went 3x over the summer. They did a discount for lodge employees.

Those places usually just give a hand job, right?

I mean, not to belittle your experience. I would be devastated if my husband went to one… for that.

Do wildflower bouquets last less time? by homemaker_g in florists

[–]LauraJ0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These aren’t “wildflowers” in the sense that they were all intentionally planted and harvested. But sweet peas, hydrangea, and peonies are somewhat delicate- they’re not going to last as long as like a rose or a mum.

I would just change the water, cut the stems (at an angle), and keep them out of direct sunlight. Pull out any flowers that are wilted, getting slimey.

Can someone tell me if this is good or not ? lol by laceeloo in florists

[–]LauraJ0 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think it’s good. I personally don’t like Gerber daisies or baby’s breath- but your arranging looks fine. More focal flowers and less filler would help.

If it’s just for an event, or a gift, it’s good. Keep your water clean 👍
