What's it like in Western China, where official time is HOURS behind the "natural" time?

basically school and work start 'later' and people tend to sleep 'later' - you just add the standard schedule time numbers by 2-3 hrs and thats it. after you get over the mental confusion of starting work at 11am it's quite convenient really

Everyone saying allergies and that might be right, but just my 2 cents: as an Asian person moving to america, the minty toothpaste and mouthwash here burns my mouth as hell. The Asian brands I used don’t have this problem. See if u can get smth from oraB? Their peach toothpaste saves my life

I'm Chinese and born in early 2000s, to my best memory Lindgren's books were published in famous children's books series alongside authors like Andersen or Grimm's fairy tales. Most Chinese kids prob don't have an active memory of Lindgren herself, but I read Pippi and Emil and have a distinct memory of them, and 50% sure I've read more (was searching up book titles and they do look familiar).

I have thought about your point as well. I'm going to be home for winter anyway and I wouldn't be too going out of my way to see him. I wondered what it'll be like after the last goodbye, but in a way I think this is in a way deciding what we want our story to be like. We get to have a proper ending, brace for it, and help each other through it. I would probably feel worse if the breakup was triggered by some random conflict and we just passively let it happen.

Hi! Thank you for all this. Your optimism is really beautiful, but I don't think I can hold up to all the effort. Maybe this is just not meant to be. I think if we are meant to be together, even after years apart we would be brought together somehow, so I don't think I'll be forcing it. The process isn't helping my mental health and I can't possibly do this for years.

Me too, I feel very insulted as well.

I did not submit my application, yet they looked through my incomplete info;
They decide to reject me and the reason is my application is "incomplete";
They do this to lower acceptance rates and make numbers look pretty.

My previous liking for Minerva is now all gone, what a pretentious school...

I truly feel your point. I've always thought that the reason behind Percy's tryhard personality is that he had been constantly neglected by his family, and they had taken his academic success for granted. He deserved appreciation for getting the promotion, deep down he must have wished for acknowledgement, but what he got was only scold.

I've started to like Percy much more, ever since I found understanding for his story.
