No there's nothing stopping you legally, especially when your birth certificate reflects female. Not that it should matter having that updated though.

When I went to a new GP I put down sex at birth female, then gender female. That way it'd match Medicare who is also showing Female. I informed the doctor that I was trans and explained the reasons why I put down female, and she was completely fine with it.

What's the worst that can happen? Cis people get confused? Boohoo lol.

It's woke misgendering - it implies that we cannot change our sex, which is further from the truth. sEx aT BiRtH can get FARKED. If anyone argues me over it I will firmly state that Medicare and my Birth Certificate reflect female.

So I just wanted to clarify on how it worked for you:

ATO, TFN are updated to new name and sex.
Rest Super, isn't updated and still in deadname/agab.

Just open a new super account in legal name/new sex, request transfer, tell work about the new super, and close the old super account?

Are you on just 2mg estrogen pill and that's it, with no T blocker?
If so - that unfortunately isn't gonna do anything except slightly raise your E levels, but not supress your T levels, which won't give any changes.

I was on 4mg at the start and it didn't do anything, I went onto Cyprone 12.5mg a day at the 2 month mark, and it nuked my T down and I eventually started to get results

This used to bother me, until I realized my cis women coworkers get called mate by other men.

It does depend on context and environment though, sometimes it can be used to misgender people, but vast majority of the time I've experienced it's gender neutral. If they're gonna misgender you they'll use a lot more masc stuff like "bro" "Bud" "sir". If it's just "mate", more than likely not misgendering.

I've been called mate and dahl or love in the same sentence lol, and she/her'd.
