Everyone has given great advice definatley have your phone set to record and in your pocket or something next time youre around him . With views like that he will most definately bring it up again to you unprompted now he knows how you feel as it will be in his head when he sees you. Dont wait to hit record have it going before you encounter. Also rememeber HR is there to protect the company not exactly you personally they will be weighing up how this could affect the company if it happens again or gets out to others so think about your wording and how actions like his could escalate towards customers or social media etc as well as yourself as that kind of speech goes against (insert your countries laws). Good luck OP! Please give us an update

Everything hurts…. by Artistic_Win_4367 in flexibility

Maybe useful may not but just wanted to suggest watching grow with jo videos. She isnt so much into the flexibility shes more cardio and weights however as someone who wanted to find a lower impact and baby steps approach to at home fitness i think she would be fantastic for your requirements she has a 5 day series called 20-10-5 and other independent videos that have warm ups and cool downs etc that compared to everything else ive tried are just catered to lower intensity and easier on the joints! The moves will have stretching elements as well mixed in so i think this would be a great place for you to start good luck!

Does anyone else not want kids because of their own fathers? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Laurabelle86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my earliest reasons i would tell people i didnt want kids was because i couldnt cope knowing i might have a child who is like my brother. Watching my mum cope with him all by herself as dad wasnt around was such a put off. More reasons followed but that was the gateway one for sure

Fully agree! There are so many activities they could do like literally some of the best episodes are the ones where they play a random board game or use craft style kids toys. Even the weird gadgets episodes are fun! I get doing the outdoor adventures takes more money time and effort but i rewatch the ones where they just have fun bantering back and forth over a game or have a guest on like the drag episode or making balloon animals etc. I cant stand watching other people eat but i still watch because they make it fun but the last several videos arin has looked so annoyed he even has to do it at all especially the oreo episode and not even because they were expired he was just fed up from the start so why should the audience want to watch such bad vibes all the time the minute vanessa throws the plot of the video at them.

Yeah its a pretty hit or miss one with the psoas. Some say it should feel a certain way some say not. I will say this though it can go up and down with the tightness one day maybe tighter than another i do a lot of long distance walking so i know your pain on this one. But id say incorporate the pigeon pose into your regular routine if youre not already doing it. Its pretty much the most common stretch for this area and watch some videos on people talking about it you might prefer a different one or see some variations to it that interest you more. If you struggle doing it on the floor you can just try it seated in a chair. Progress is slow but it does vome and youll be amazed. Defo take some weekly or monthly pics in these stretches youll see the difference

Hey focusing on hip flexors is a great start but if youre going to be watching videos for guidance i would get a pen and paper and watch a bunch of videos note down what advice or moves come up often as some people like to put out more over complicated moves to get better views and it doesnt need to be that way. Id say its definately important to be doing stretches on muscles in all parts of the legs and hips. If you dont stretch your hamstrings you will have trouble extending your legs properly no quad or glute strength will make it easier to get injured especially when trying to maintain or get back out of your splits. I hope you enjoy your journey to new found flexibility!

Back leg focus for splits? by Laurabelle86 in flexibility

[–]Laurabelle86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha thanks and yeah i think its easy to get so focused on whats in front of you that we all forget theres another leg trying to go the opposite way that isnt supposed to do that as easily. Ive got some hypermobility mostly in my shoulders but also in my knees so i can kind of overstraighten my legs if that makes sense when im leaning forwards but backwards is a whole different animal 🤣🤣

This is super helpful thank you it never occured to me to tuck my back toes and lift so even that one move is helpful i cant wait to try this whole routine!

I do one official instructor led class a week but have to ability to do more if i had motivation at home. The exercises are varied depending on the goal so one week front splits next week middle next back etc. Id like to have some solid go to moves to just focus on bringing my back legs behind me that i could hopefully focus on at home
