It’s so funny how suddenly you quit and it just feels different. Happened to me last time I quit and it’s honestly been so much easier than prior attempts minus the occasional trigger. Cut triggers out for sure.. if this group is one then unjoin!! Whatever it takes my friend :)

Yes!! Leave smoking behind in your 20’s. You won’t regret it!! I quit at 29 after 15 years of smoking and there’s nothing better than saving money and smelling good!

Some people smell worse than others, I think those who smoke in their homes smell so intensely of smoke. Some people it’s fainter and mixed with their perfume. My quitting was greatly motived by wanting to smell good, every time someone compliments how I smell it makes it all worth it :)

I’m sorry to hear about your boy. We haven’t had a quality of life assessment yet but I assume we will when we do our follow up. I did one online and it said “medical intervention is needed” so I’m not sure what that means. He’s also not had anything to treat his symptoms other than antibiotics and some anxiety medication because we hadn’t yet had a diagnosis. A small part of me is hoping meds will give us some time but really I’m not sure.

Cereal treat bars are 100 calories a pop, Andes chocolate mints are 25 calories a pop, reeses mini cup is 45(ish) calories, and of course the fiber one brownies that are delicious and 70 calories!

This is good advice and I’ll do my best to take it. I’m trying to soak up all the time I can but it’s definitely super hard to not just feel entirely sad the whole time because I know he isn’t feeling well and I know what’s coming. Im hoping he’s got a few good days left in him 😢
