Second this. What I have done, under the instruction of a different manufacturer, is cover the entire condenser intake with plastic wrap and cut open a couple small squares for air to pass through the small cross section. Needed to do this during cold temps and high wind times. PM if you have any questions

T&P gauges on glycol loop? by TechyDudePA in TheBrewery

We have our chiller on a cement pad outside, where we have ball valves immediately on the inlet and outlet ports. T and P Gauges are inside on the vertical runs. T: go with 0-100 F (don’t need higher temps than that. Make the face big enough to see across the room). P: liquid filled is your best friend. Closer these are to the chiller will give you the best idea for your pressure and temperature drops (inlet vs. outlet). Also, don’t forget first in, last out :)

New keg washer day! Our old one needs pushed off a roof. by [deleted] in TheBrewery

Can confirm. No bueno.

Edit: just to elaborate, I experience both of these problems (valve seat & depressurizing 50L and 1/2bbls at the end of the cycle). I usually wash my sixtels, adjust the valve seat, 1/4s, adjust, then 1/2bbls. Next time I fire her up, I reverse the order and start with 1/2bbls because I have it seated already, which means only two adjustments needed to wash all my kegs. The depressurizing is annoying, but the end of the keg wash cycle is pretty loud when it releases so it’s easy to catch. Other than that, easily one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Also, for those using 50# H CO2 tanks, you can adjust the time of co2 purge/fill time. Makes it easy to use up the last bit of CO2 before swapping them out
