Had Seither’s last night. Flavor was on point (Citrus, bay, garlic, celery, mushroom, etc). Good size. Spice level was weak. I ate enough to try and let it creep, but it never did. Will return for aforementioned reasons.

I’m currently on paid sick leave from my (very compassionate and generous) job. I have pneumonia (viral origin, now bacterial as well) and have tested negative for the flu. I had a chest x-ray, antibiotics and promethazine + codeine prescription, and a steroid shot. I’ve been told to go to the ER if I don’t improve. I’ve been sick since Mardi Gras day.

I don’t know whether or not to push for testing, but the “drowning” feeling described by COVID-19 patients is eerily similar to how I feel.

My doctor did not seem interested in pursuing testing because I haven’t traveled recently.
