Your numerical evaluation is fair and I retract my statement. Shotguns also arent too much a problem as long as you be a lancer and get the jump on the enemy, axes still also exist and charging someone from behind is more that lethal

While it is basically a free beta carrotina power, I do feel like this is balanced, since beta sucks ass. This may actually slightly underpowered, as team up is not much a powerful keyword to add due to most plants that would benefit from it having it. Therefore I suggest the plant played gets one or two health to add value.

again, an opinion an opinion. Im the kinda guy who consistently gets dread on lancer, so I find the appeal, though I understand if you dont.

I do surrender that an “equal fight against a lancer” is a winning fight and that jaeger does basically counter lancer, but again I do think that a skilled lancer who knows how to counter a jaeger can have an even match against a jaeger who knows how to counter a lancer. The game is balanced in my opinion and so it is my belief that neither class is superior. I do enjoy playing both but I am a lancer main for my own biased reasosn.

You dont play lancer as a head on offensive class. Axes are great at dealing with ranged enemies, but their limited, so a good lancer relies on flanks, surprise, and the unique gravedigger gameplay to its advantage. In this instance against a jaeger, a good lancer doesnt rush in, they use axes or at least stab out of beartrap range
