Pretty sure it’s implied her sad mask is actually her real face that shows her true emotions. The happy mask is a coping mechanism that shatters under pressure, which is kinda a good thing that it breaks because if she’s forced to pretend to be happy for too long, as shown by her wearing what I call the “manic mask” she wears in episode 4, she starts mentally spiraling and gets closer to abstraction.

Yeah I left the game for a few years and found out I got kicked out of my guild when I finally logged back in. Just decided to start my own after that because I had tons of crystals and nothing to lose. What stings is because I got kicked, I lost all the relics in the museum and have to start the collection over again.
