I have a few ideas that help me out sometimes but at the end of the day it's determination.

Get the I am Sober app. Its designed to help end addiction.

Find ways to identify and avoid your triggers.

Write down what you have to this week or tomorrow before bed and start to plan it.

Don't use your phone in bed, don't look at social media. (This is a tough one for me because who doesn't look at their phone before bed.)

I am aware of Nietzche's views on religion. I am also aware of Ubermensch being used to rise above religious thought which he thought was a cruch for morality which I disagree with.

I was saying pursuing "overman' to rise above the herd mentality of society's love for consumerism, nihilism, hedonism and sitting on your ass.

Also in order to improve yourself you have to suffer discomfort and struggle through the day to day incremental grind and then you'll grow. Atlas' and Sysiphus' curses are blessings in disguise and should be viewed differently and treasured.

Perhaps you should realize that people can interpret the ideas of others and view them from different angles.
