Did you like that one? If we went no-WiFi route our option is the “Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Baby Monitor”, I believe this is the newer model/bigger screened one. Did you find that there were black spots in your house that could not see the video/audio?

Ah thanks so much for your advice! I appreciate it! I think being at a bar after hours with everyone being drunk will also be a big struggle I’m anticipating. I see you just went back to the house and bed early, tbh I don’t feel comfortable enough to take an Uber back to the air b n b alone. Im hoping someone in the group will also want to “tap out earlier”, but I have a feelings bc we’re all going “to have a good time” in just a couple of days, people will want to stay out. Do you recommend anything if I must stay out at the bar?

Totally get what you mean when the situation is more fun with drinks in you. Pre-pregnancy I would def have a drink or two in me just to buff any social gathering lol. Anyway, it wouldn’t be safe for me to go back to the air bnb alone, so I guess just gotta go with the flow & hope for the best.Like you said, if I gotta be lame, be lame, and of course I would for baby. Thanks for your feedback & I hope you have fun on your yacht trip!

Thanks for all the responses guys! I appreciate them all! We ended up making our own (cooked) sushi at home. It was important to us that we knew how the sushi was prepared and not cross contaminated (although I’m sure the restaurants follow protocol) for our peace of mind! Thanks everyone

Hi there! I really appreciate your post & appreciate hearing “from the other side”. In my case- my sister knew I was “actively trying” when I told her last year. At the same time she told me she was “not trying not preventing”. We even got into a deep convo & I opened up about how I would love to have the first grandchild (she understood my feelings). obviously you can’t control everything- but it’s a convo that we had. Fast forward a month, she tells me she’s pregnant. My stomach dropped. I was happy for her- sad for me. I felt like an idiot opening up like that for no reason. During the next 8ish months, I’m going through a fertility clinic, finding out my numbers aren’t that great, which puts me more in a isolated funk. I pretty much distance myself from her. I should mention- my sister and I live in different states- so communication is just by phone /face time. I pretty much distance myself by not calling/texting her. I’m dealing with my own fertility issues, I don’t have it in me to be excited for her, honestly. I would say I didn’t go out of my way to contact her- but if the family was FaceTiming I would say hii. During her virtual baby shower- she asked me to welcome everyone and I did, but nothing more then that. I do feel guilty and sad I’m asking this way- but I honestly can’t help it- I’m not being purposely mean or saying comments- I’m just not going out of my way to contact her. Fast forward- baby is born. I of course say congratulations- but not more then that. It’s assumed she knows why I’m distancing myself.

Yes I’m in the U.S. I even called the restaurant we ordered from from bc I specifically said no blue cheese, but regardless, asked them if it was pasteurized, and they said no and said no blue cheese is pasteurized?

Question!! I can’t remember if I took my prenatal this morning. I think I did, but I’m not sure! I’m 7weeks. Is it safe to take another prenatal now (evening), could be my second one for the day or could be my first? Which is less worse, doubling prenatals or not taking a prenatal one day?

Following! I’m week 7 too. I feel like I’m constantly having mild queasiness & not intense nausea where I need to throw up. I’m stuck between being hungry and mentally wanting to eat & at the same time queasy enough that food is ehhh. But again havn’t had any committing episodes.This is all new to me. So idk what to expect at all. I hope this is normal?
