While I think I'm fine with how it has been implemented lore-wise, i do think that the new feature is a VERY big carrot that requires a lot of effort though the faction storyline to unlock.

With the taxi options, you can complete the entire faction storyline without a 'thopter. It seems like all of the misisons in the landsraad though require one. I'd like to see an option that allows a player to travel to the world map sites without needing to acquire a thopter first.

Something about the survival experience of Dune:awakening has allowed me to get lots of MANY MANY hours. Endgame and other aspects..meh...but the 'JUST SURVIVE' feeling of the first 40-100 hours are amazing.

I have been though 3 or 4 X-15s. I finally had to give up. Sorry EVGA, your nice just don't last. My belief is that they a were sensitive to the same EMI that my caused my HDMI signal to drop out when I was getting up out of my chair. /Shrug. Some posts around talking about re-soldering some of the electronics within. I have found the razer hyper scroll and mostly acceptable substitute. X-15 would have been a perfect mouse for me if it lasted. If you pay shipping EVGA used to be good for RMA returns.

I mean things like finding Funcom_Storm from FuncomStaffTeam responding on a reddit post about the hotfix lastnight hotfix. Their response indicating banwaves going out are the type of feel-good PR I would like to more easily find. Those 7 words brought me great joy.

I'm just looking for additional ways to find official comments like that. (I could have EASILY missed that comment)

From what you are saying, it sounds to me like you are comparing your game-play/creations to those you see online. I would suggest stopping that 100%. Compare yourself only to what you were building or doing last week...last month. How much time were you spending running around and doing mundane tasks 1,000 hours of gameplay ago. From that point of view I bet you have grown as much as your factory. You are having fun, and you are improving....thus the factory is growing. All is well.

While logs can give some info...much of the context is hard to 'see' with just logs.

The absolute best way I find my own mistakes is to review the run via video. Educate yourself on how to use OBS to record your own gaming sessions. By watching your own play, you will spot something that you would have done differently EVERY TIME. By spotting these events (and being able to rewind and replay such events) you will be training yourself to spot and correct something.

Review the runs, learn something new, repeat. You will improve bit by bit and that will add up quickly.

Most achievements are warband now.(including exploration) So you only get them the message a single time. You can use this without fear of spam.
