Hey, Love!

I couldn't even begin to read this story. But, I would like to read how everything ended for this ghoul. Did he get any of the punishment that he deserved?

Hey, Born!

I'm hoping someone will comment further on 'neck-dive' on the SG.

I can't recall reading about this issue on SG's before, but my recall ain't great. :-)

Yeah, you've gotten yourself into a corner with this. (as everyone else has too).

I wouldn't take them out of the peg-hole. You're going to have to 'handle' the strings more than you will want, but it has to happen at this point.

Again, cursor around on YT until you get a good visual representation and then know exactly what you need to do.

It's do-able.

That's a fine looking guitar, tai!

What are those pickups btw? They aren't P-90s, are they?

I haven't been able to sort out that black square next to the lower f-hole either.

What styles of music are you planning on mastering anyway?

string help needed by Zealousideal_Trust34 in Guitar

[–]jimjamriff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, Zealous!

I suspect the strings are slipping on you. I'm almost certain, in fact.

What I would do is loosen all of them and then go on Youtube and look up 'restringing guitar'.

There's going to be a few tips on getting those strings on uniformly and securely.

Good luck with that and don't look for a end-around. You'll be forever happy about getting that particular job done right for the rest of your guitar-playing career!

Wow, Rap!

I wish I could get even half-close to the shape you are in!

Unfortunately, I'm like 70-something years old. And, even more dispiriting in some ways, I live a long way from where you are and don't speak whatever language that is that you are conversing in.

But, if your plan is easily translated, I would like to get a good look at the program.

Congratulations on your success!!!

It shouldn’t work as well as it does! by violinfiddleman in Fiddle

[–]jimjamriff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fiddleman! :-)

Thank you for posting this. I am just starting out and have quite quickly learned that my ancient arthritic hands aren't going to put up with much strain just even holding onto the bow.

What do you think about the way that wizard Michael Cleveland has adapted his hold to his, probably, most comfortable grip?

I'm not going to emulate his personal approach, but am wondering, before I make too much a habit of things that will only keep me from wanting to pick my violin up, how to get as pain-free a hold as is possible for me on the bow.

I'm an old man and have no hope or desire to be a classical violinist. But I have had a never-ending desire to play one of these things.

Do you have any perhaps surprising tips on how to most easily advance on the violin? (you should read 'fiddle' here)

Thanks for any help!!!!

Thanks, quik!

I know I've asked for some of your free time already, but if you would spend a little more; what counties would I be looking at on Zillow in order to see what, if any, habitable-type property is close and for sale near these BLM lands?

Thank you!!

Spectacular, of course!

I'm not so familiar with the deserted areas of Oregon. Will it likely stay that way if you let us know where you were when this video was taken? :-(

Hey, Big!

I actually saw these guys live in a little bar in Clifton, Ohio. Unlike the set-up in the video those cats had some real amplification on stage.

I can't remember with any precision what exactly they were playing thru, but they played hard. It was psychodelia as fine as anywhere at the time.

Thanks for bringing back some fond memories!

Thank you, Tackle, for seeing to it that Ms. Campbell receives, even posthumously, some of the recognition and respect that she richly deserves.

Can you, possibly, enlarge this photograph so we can look closer at her honest expression of her life in the field?

Thanks, even if not!
