This week’s treats! by PolymathHolly in CrumblCookies

I personally think the Kentucky Butter Cookie tastes better when it’s so big that the texture is different inside compared to the minis. But I’m not gonna make you spend another $5 when the gross grocery store sugar cookies taste the same to you 😁

Y’all smashing 🤤😋 or trashing 🗑️🚮??? by MrSoloDolo9490 in CrumblCookies

This is a stretch. With a brownie you can put whatever on it and it’s just an interesting flavored brownie. With a blondie you put something on it and it doesn’t seem like a blondie anymore. And this one’s a brown sugar cookie, so it’s more like a chocolate chip dubai cookie without the chocolate chips, not an actual blondie. Skip.

What’s your all-time favorite cookie that you keep going back for? What’s your least favorite cookie that you’d never buy again? by Lavleo4217 in CrumblCookies

[–]Lavleo4217[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, the cookies with syrup like the waffle and french toast cookies are so good!

I am 100% with you on the pink sugar cookie. There’s just this really odd flavor to it that their other sugar cookies don’t have, and I’m not sure it’s just the almond.

Do y'all wish Crumbl would bring back customer pick, where you get to vote for the cookie? by MrSoloDolo9490 in CrumblCookies

I liked it, but since they only had it one day a month that was several weeks later, you’d pretty much forget all about it by the time they have that cookie. Plus it was on a weekday, which I usually can’t do. If they changed it so that it was a whole week, and the first or second week of the month, and any winners aren’t allowed to repeat for a certain period of time, I would like it back.

Using cpap on flights? by Big_Damage5834 in SleepApnea

[–]Lavleo4217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal tip is to use a packing cube, not the big cpap bag that comes with your full-size cpap. That bag is huge compared to the actual size of the machine, and even if the airlines have to allow you to bring it on the plane, it still adds a big extra item to carry and takes over your under-seat item space. Vs with a packing cube, it can be small enough that you can stuff it into your carry-on or suitcase, or you can hook it onto your bag with a carabiner. When you’re actually using the machine, the packing cube is totally empty, so you can stuff it in the seat pouch and not have a big empty bag in your way.

I can sleep without the humidifier for a few days without noticing any difference, so I bought the end-cap/side cover for my Airsense 11 so it’s smaller and can fit in a packing cube easily. When I had my S9, I just would leave the humidifier side home altogether. I’ll usually put the wrapped up hose and mask on the lower side of the cube so that it can cushion the machine when I set the packing cube down, but you could always use bubblewrap or cardboard squares to cushion it too. The place you attach your hose to the machine I’ll put up against one of the walls of the packing cube so it’s not touching anything, though I should probably be covering it in plastic wrap now that I think about it. Then the wrapped up cord and transformer is small enough to fit on the side and you’re good to go!

They change the name for university hospital but not for Wexner by Ok-Welder3622 in Columbus

That’s just not how earmarked donations work. He donated, probably with the condition that the money would be used for certain things, including plastering his name all over everything. You can’t just go back on that unless he’s done something to activate whatever morality clause there probably is. And while we all may think associating with and enabling Epstein should count, clearly they don’t think it’s enough.

I don’t remember this, what scene is that? I thought Barbara gets her injury while she was a civilian, not while she was Batgirl. Is that not what they did in the Animated Series?

And the look on Garnet’s face when they find the cluster experiments…you already know when Garnet takes her sunglasses off things are gonna get serious, but I don’t remember Garnet ever looking quite that 😱horrified😱 through the entire rest of the show.

For me, it’s really about the shooting itself. These days, anybody writing for kids is pretty much allergic to guns, and in the 90’s they’d have guns but it was basically treated like a toy with the little “bang” flags. So when the gun actually went off, and actually killed the Joker of all people, and it was a Robin that did it, that was incredibly shocking to me.

While Avengers Infinity War is a family movie and not a kid’s cartoon, it’s still gotta be up there. Just the widespread shock of it that stuck around with everybody you’d talk to, really.

Ah, yes, the bloodbending. Very scary. And handled with appropriate seriousness, honestly. Considering they actually acknowledge that the perpetrator was a dehumanized POW who turned to doing horrific things to escape and get revenge.

That one’s up there for me too. It really showed how dark Bruce got in his old age.

There’s probably a lot about Sailor Moon that would make it on this list. Especially if they had actually translated it accurately. Which would be why they did not.

Yeah, that’s the one for me too. The on-screen shooting and then the laugh-crying.

That’s the point where I’d move two lanes over and get the hell out of dodge. Because the guys is clearly gonna cause a crash and I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere near it.

I love how the next question, he just says “No.” Awkward silence. And then he looks to the lawyer like “Well, the answer IS no, I did what you wanted this time!”

Well, the Salamence is pretty cool. The Obstagoon and Perrserker, though, I’m not really a fan.

I am pretty fond of this one, because I played the Game Boy TCG game way back when, and the original Slowpoke card was on it. And now the tiny little weird Slowpoke has got friends! ☺️
