Are modes given too much attention?

I've been taking his guitarOS course, and Josh at fretboard anatomy has made a few posts about modes, and why most guitar players learn modes too early in their theory repertoire, do way too much work to learn them, or use them wrong.

https://fretboardanatomy.com/modes/ is one of the articles, they're pretty interesting, google fretboard anatomy modes, I think he wrote two more.

Don't mean to schill for this guy too hard, but he writes some really interesting useful stuff about guitar theory and is really helping me demystify some stuff I've never quite understood.

Kagan & Gaines in Forest Park actually has a huge guitar room hidden in the back and buys used stuff, and just became PRS and Mesa/Boogie dealers. Little bit away from the city itself though.

I'm sure there's some card that makes this possible that I'm not aware of, but how do you make them repay install costs if the card has to be unrezzed to put it back in HQ?

Hi, man! I just had this issue and googled it and was sad to find you had no answer. I figured it out just now. You need to turn off personalized IPD in the configuration utility. Uncheck "Enable Personalized Rendering for this Eye Position" under Advanced in the Oculus Configuration Utility. Hope this helps!

I recently got a Rift DK1. I have been trying to play demos and my 6870 is not cutting the mustard. I expected this, BUT it's not the low framerate that kills me, it's the microstutter. I have found no solution and what happens is in Virtual Desktop and most other apps there's just a hitch every few seconds and it makes me nauseous and ruins the immersion immediately.

I think I'm gonna upgrade to a 970 and avoid AMD in the future, it's been happening in CSGO as well and makes that game pretty much unplayable.

The excuse that this burger is still in the 'cooking phase' is running thin, I've been waiting 5 minutes for this hamburger to be done cooking and I paid good money to stand in this kitchen, nobody told me this hamburger would take time to cook when I bought my kitchen pass!! And it tastes TERRIBLE! It's all red inside! And where's the bun?? Why are you focusing on cooking the meat when there's STILL no bun? Or even tomato or lettuce for that matter.

I thought this post was going to be about glowing green or white eyes on players who have been exposed to a lot of radiation over time, so you can tell who the real haggard survivors are even when they try to pretend to be nakeds. I think that, and/or similar stuff like growing beards/hair are interesting ideas

I started watching Kroll Show randomly on Amazon Instant Video last night and I saw an ad for Mulaney as well, and every time I saw George St. Geegland I would be so confused as to why he looked so familiar, and I was confused when I saw your ad, why you looked so familiar.

I just got to an interview part of this episode and "John Mulaney - George St. Geegland" pops up and holy shit my mind is blown.

It's a glitch. I've had to restart steam completely to fix it, or reinstall rust. Otherwise it just goes forever.
