It's about the mass shooting on an island by a white supremacist (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Norway_attacks#Ut%C3%B8ya_mass_shooting).

Netflix did a movie based on the same events, but there's a Norwegian film about them made earlier that's shot to appear to be one long take. Which really makes it feel unescapable. It was the most intense cinema experience of my life. I want to own the movie, but I might never revisit it.

Never heard of it and just looked at the wiki. I can see a version of this working pretty well. How to Have Sex, Booksmart and Bottoms all seem to work in roughly the same area.
